The global forum rules

First... I'd want to say that... in order to improve I'm going to tighten up some on my own rules.

1. No spamming in non-spam topics. You'll be dealt with by me personally. (If another mod/admin does not already handle it)

2. Let's try to stay on topic. I know it's fun going off-topic and I do it too but... if we want to look good we need to put a stop too it. It's alright to be a little off-topic... but your post has to contribute some way to the topic. No more... LOL posts... tell why you said LOL. Also... if you're going to put a funny remark or a comment to your funny remark... in SOME way make it contribute to the topic. If you want... post your thoughts on the topic, then say a joke. (I'm going to stop as well... to set an example.) So no more... *and then i set a bomb* stuff.. lol.

3. No swearing... it's just not cool. Some users are younger children and a parent seeing swearing could get them in trouble. Plus... they don't need to be learning it. If you swear and it's filtered then fine. Don't over-swear... and DO NOT... I REPEAT... DO NOT... bypass the filter! I'll personally consult with you. (I'm going to stop as well)

4. Hacking will not be tolerated. Period. Any talks about "omg im going to hack you" won't be tolerated as well. DON'T EVEN THINK... about talking of plans to hack. If you're caught on any neighboring forum linked to DDNN and you talk about hacking DDNN... you'll be dealt with. ANY type of hacking (Not just hacking DDNN)... will be not tolerated on DDNN itself. If you're caught hacking... you'll be banned for good... and if possible... reported to the authorities. (I'm serious)

5. Pornography is un-acceptable. You'll be banned at first attempts to post pornography.

6. Don't post ads where unnecessary. Don't post referral links that are to your benefit. If you want to advertise... please use the affiliates section. Also... don't post links to sites that are profit organizations.

7. Bumping. Although it's not a serious issue... it's just uncalled for. You'll be warned about bumping. Don't bump a topic. PLEASE check the post date before you bump a topic.

Any topic older than 30 days will be locked and you'll be warned for bumping. Consistent bumping will be dealt with. The only forum where bumping is allowed is the Off-topic, spamming forum.

8. Flaming. An issue before and always will be... THINK before you post "OMG UR STUPID FOR THINKING THAT". Do not pointlessly flame. Do not troll (Trolling is where you purposely post something to attract flames). If you think that post may start a flame war... is offensive and possibly a flame, or simply is rude... don't post it. Respect other's opinions. If you disagree, say "I respect your opinion but I disagree because... (Insert supporting details of why you disagree)". And give real facts... don't say because this sucks, because ur stupid, because u dumb. Posts that may start flames or IS a flame will be deleted. Those flaming will be dealt with. Respect other members, and they'll respect you back.

9. Set a good example! Be a good friendly member and set an example for newer incoming members... and as well as some older ones who need to learn a few things.


10. I'm going to set an example for all of you. That's the last rule.
